Angel Campos – 21st century Poster Dress
“This dress is a reinterpretation of d_archive’s pattern for the iconic 1960’s poster dress, created as part of a challenge presented by SYKY and d_archive. Reimagined for the 21st century, I used CLO3D to design an organza and lace mesh skirt layered beneath the original silhouette, adding volume and dimension. While I kept the signature velcro shoulder fastening, I introduced side slits to accommodate the fuller skirt, blending the heritage of the poster dress with a modern twist. The photographic print displayed on the front of the dress is from photographer Paulina Piiponen’s Mind as a House photographic collection.”
